Max Rollitt is highly respected in the Antique World as having his own eye and style. He trained as a furniture designer and maker, and was apprenticed to Frearson and Hewlett, an antique furniture restoration workshop supporting the top London trade. Since 1993 he has run his own antiques shop, initially in Winchester before moving in 2006 to a large showroom in Alresford, a Georgian market town near Winchester.

He specialises in the finest 18th and 19th century English antiques but is well known for combining the very best quality pieces with more extraordinary and unusual textiles, ceramics, pictures, lighting and other ephemera.
