A PAIR OF SATINWOOD PIER TABLES
A Pair of fine and unusual satinwood and giltwood pier tables circa 1790 in the manner of Thomas Sheraton.
The satinwood veneered tops and crossbanded in tulipwood with boxwood and ebony lines. The borders having their original painted floral decoration.
The bases giltwood having acanthus leaf decoration to the frieze and legs. The legs joined by a shaped stretcher ornamented with a running grilloche, joined by a floral central motif.
