About Us

Max Rollitt is well regarded among his peers for having a unique eye for antiques. He originally trained as a furniture designer and maker, and was apprenticed to Frearson and Hewlett, an antique furniture restoration workshop supporting the top London trade. Since 1993, Max has run his own antique business – now located just outside the picturesque South Downs village of Avington – and he began creating his own range of bespoke furniture in 1998. Max took the next natural step of entering into the world of interior design in 2006, combining his skills to highly sought-after effect.

Studio Assistant (Interiors)

Full time: 37.5 hours

£21–23k per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Max Rollitt for an enthusiastic and ambitious Studio Assistant to join the team at our Hampshire office and showroom. An entry-level interior design role, the successful candidate will support a small team of designers working on high-end residential contracts in both the UK and abroad, as well as additional ad hoc projects. They will also undertake a variety of projects within the context of the wider business, encompassing antiques and bespoke furniture design, and as part of a company that regularly appears in the likes of The World of Interiors and House & Garden.

We are looking for someone who is both highly organised and creatively engaged; someone who has initiative and is hungry to learn.

Logistics Coordinator

Full time: 37.5 hours (part time considered)

£25–27k per annum

We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised and efficient individual to join our thriving business at Yavington Barn, Hampshire. This new role will manage all of the logistics for our antique and bespoke furniture deliveries – nationally and in the EU – working with a network of local and international couriers to track stock from point of sale to delivery. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator in person, on the phone and via email, and be proficient on a computer. They will thrive in a busy office and be a team player who sits at the core of our three businesses: antiques; bespoke; and interior design.
