Based on a simple yet elegant bed from Goa, India, that Max admired while staying with friends, the Bala Bed works beautifully both pared back to showcase the handcrafted wooden frame or draped with a sheer canopy.

Details

  • Solid American black walnut posts, polished to a teak finish.*
  • Side rails in tulipwood with solid walnut facings.
  • Traditionally upholstered headboard.
  • Headboard requires 2.5 metres of fabric (plain and standard width).
  • Made to order in the UK.

The dimensions below refer to our standard size, which fits a 5’ mattress. The bed depicted fits a 5’6” mattress. All Max Rollitt Bespoke beds are made to order, according to client requirements.

Fabric Requirements

Standard King size headboard requires 2.5 metres (2.7 yards) of fabric (plain and standard width)
