A twist on our popular Bamboo Ottoman, the Bamboo Bench takes the Regency-style simulated bamboo decoration of the original and recreates it in taller, narrower proportions – perfect for the end of a bed, a window seat, or a small occasional table.
Crafted with traditional methods and materials, every step of the process is chosen for longevity, comfort and finesse of finish.
Its legs are turned from solid beech in our Sussex workshop, then integrated into a solid beech frame. The legs and stretchers are then gessoed and hand-painted in ochre with heritage paints and waxes.
Finally, upholstery is completed by our skilled in-house team here at Yavington Barn, using traditional techniques and natural fibre fillings.

Alternative Finish
While the ochre ground is a more traditional take on the Regency paint effect, a likeness to bamboo was not the primary concern; hence the evolution of more decorative colourways such as this tea green ground with blue, white and black highlights.
Either option comes as standard. Simply state your preference when placing an order.
