Beeton Ottoman

Ideal in height and scale to carry trays or stacks of books, this substantial footstool works perfectly to anchor a formal arrangement of chairs and sofas. With squat legs, chunky castors and deep borders lending weight, whilst the style may be described as mid to late 19th Century, ours is a significantly upsized model, blending a subtle Victorian aesthetic with the requirements of 21st Century life.

The hand turned walnut legs and solid beech frame are made in our Sussex workshop and the stool is traditionally polished with the same products and techniques as used on our antique furniture. The legs are capped with large scale hand cast unlacquered brass cup castors, also made in the UK. The stool is completed by time served upholsterers in our in-house workshop, using traditional techniques and natural fibre fillings. Like all our furniture, the Beeton Stool has been made with longevity in mind; guaranteed to give years of use and to be appreciated by future generations.
