The Burns Table was inspired by a table Max grew up with, which had been chosen by his mother, and that he’s always kept.
Unusually having a rectangular top, the original tripod table dates to circa 1765 – look to the pad feet and you’ll note a slight ridge running down the centre of each one, a detail particular to that period. Like the original, its beautifully drawn and wonderfully rich in colour.
