The Campaign Bed was inspired by a military campaign bed made by the specialist maker Thomas Butler, who was working in the late-eighteenth and early-nineteenth centuries. The cornice has been adapted and is made from brass, which can be left exposed or upholstered to create an elegant, enclosed space.
