Fantastical Lamp

A faux porphyry and gilt-highlighted classical column-style lamp, the form inspired by 18th Century neoclassical column gas lamps, themselves inspired by souvenirs bought home by Grand Tourists. Made by a local wood turner from sustainably sourced tulipwood and beech, the lamps are hand painted in a porphyry finish developed by Max in collaboration with a talented local artist who specialises in historic paint effects for furniture.
