A tailored feather and down topped footstool, modelled after Howard stools of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Proportioned to sit in front of most standard sized sofas, the height is ideal for feet and the perfect size for a tray.
The beech frame is hand built with tapering turned walnut legs, traditionally oiled and waxed, which sit on collared brass castors allowing the stool to move easily towards a sofa for cosy nights in. The feather and down stuffed cushion appears loose, but is integrated into the upholstery of the stool guaranteeing it stays in place during use.
