Inspired by an Edinburgh chair maker’s design that dates back to the very early nineteenth century, the legs of the Scottish Chair have a distressed ebonised finish to emulate the original antique.

Details

  • Traditionally upholstered solid beech frame.
  • Scratch moulded detail to front legs, splayed legs to rear.
  • Cup castors to front legs, plate castors to the rear.
  • Piped arms and seat cushion.
  • Handmade solid beech frame.
  • Made to order in the UK.

Fabric Requirements

Standard size requires:

  • Requires 5.5 metres (6 yards) of fabric (plain and standard width).
  • 2 metres (2.2 yards) fabric required for contrast piping or 12 metres (13.1 yards) of flanged cord.
  • Can be buttoned or tufted (25 required per chair) 0.5 metres/yards of contrast fabric required for contrast buttons
