Stoneware Lamp

Hand thrown on the wheel by a passionate local ceramicist, the form of the Stoneware Lamp is borrowed from some of Max’s favourite antique ginger jars. There is no elaborate decoration here, instead our Stoneware Lamp is left unglazed, emphasising the form and giving the lamp a wonderfully tactile quality. The material of the lamp responds well to changing light levels throughout the day, appearing bright white in some environments and at other times a subdued stone colour. Although pictured here with a plain shade for reference, the subtle tone of the base makes it a wonderful vehicle for a more elaborate shade.
