Max Rollitt

Campden Hill Townhouse

This beautiful London townhouse was built in 1830 but had suffered bomb damage in World War I and needed to be gutted from top to bottom, including the removal of the floors. The client was keen that the house be in the manner of Sir John Soane, so Max was enlisted to work with an architect to design and ultimately oversee all details pertaining to the interior architecture. He and the team were also responsible for designing, decorating and furnishing the interiors of what is a relatively small house for a family of four.
