A Grade II-listed farmhouse in the picturesque West Country, this was a project where the setting was every bit as important as the house itself.
Working with Bath-based architects Simon Morray-Jones, Max and the team helped restore and unify this once-ramshackle home, rationalising generations of additions while creating a comfortable, colourful family house with a distinctly English sensibility. The brief was to celebrate the building’s history and character, while bringing long-term functionality, warmth and flow to modern family life.
