Max Rollitt

Oxfordshire Farmhouse

UK

A handsome Oxfordshire farmhouse originally constructed in 1675 as a country retreat for a retired naval captain, its owners enlisted Max to help restore, decorate and furnish the interior. He and the team worked closely with the clients to add richness and colour, sourcing Georgian furniture and antique textiles to give the house an established feel. As many original features as possible were kept and restored, including the late-seventeenth century oak staircase, and cornicing and chimneypieces throughout.
