Console or Side Table, in the manner of William Kent

A superb console or side table, the carved and painted base in the manner of William Kent made and finished in our workshops, and fitted with an antique mahogany top. The design, with its carved frieze above six scrolling fluted beech legs topped with carved scallop shells, is based on a table found at Chatsworth House.

William Kent (1685–1748) was an architect and furniture designer renowned for his revival of the Palladian style in 18th-century England.
