George I Walnut and Feather-Banded Chest of Drawers, circa 1715

A George I walnut and feather-banded chest of drawers, quarter veneered, moulded top above, with two short and three graduated drawers with brass handles. On bracket feet. At some time in its life it has been cut in half in order to get it up some narrow stairs. This was not uncommon and only adds to its charm. Circa 1715.
