Georgian Bed of Grand Proportions, circa 1805

A Georgian four-poster bed of large proportions, with turned, whorled, carved and reeded mahogany foot posts. Ornamented with ebony and boxwood lines, ebonised decoration, ormolu mounts and paterae, split-turned reeding to the feet. The arched pelmets with gilt and ebonised decoration, also having ormolu mounts. In the manner of Gillows. Circa 1805.
