Katzsic Sofa

The Katzsic Sofa is based on an antique original (circa 1790) that Max had bought from a manor house in Lancashire. Launched in 2002, it remains a key piece within the Max Rollitt Bespoke collection to this day; and clients regularly choose to upholster it in the same hand-dyed yellow antique linen as was specified by Max for its very first incarnation.

Its frame made traditionally using solid beech with mortice and tenon joints, the Katzsic's tapered legs (which can be painted or polished to an antique mahogany finish) end on flush square cup castors and leather wheels. The frame is then webbed and upholstered using traditional methods, and accompanied by a hair-wrapped seat and a single bolster cushion.

Requires 11m fabric (plain and standard width).
