Sheraton Marquetry Tray-Top Silver Table, circa 1790

A Sheraton tray-top mahogany silver table with foliate marquetry. The fiddleback mahogany galleried top decorated with interlaced ribbon with canted corners and the frieze decorated with trailing foliage and inlaid boxwood paterae. On slender square tapering legs with boxwood socks on brass barrel castors.
